The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is called “the Great Conjunction” because Jupiter and Saturn are the largest and most important planets in our solar system
A Jupiter-Saturn cycle takes 20 years, however this particular Jupiter-Saturn cycle also coincides with the elemental shift from Earth to Air. Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions occur in the same element for 200-240 years, and in the last 2 centuries they have occurred in Earth signs. That’s why the fabric our society has been driven by Earth values (consumerism, resources, status, hard work, money) - these values will now change
On December 21st (and the following 2-3 days) Jupiter and Saturn will be closer than they have ever been since 1623. The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs exactly at the Solstice.
